Turned out to be a succeess. Even those who weren't freshmen went to join in on the fun. Let's hope this turns out to be a new tradition the next ortho kids will follow.

Hurry up and sign up for as many clubs as you can handle this year! There will be many to choose from, from pre-med, to even a dead-poets society!! Each club will have its own table with its own sign up list and members who have already joined. Don't miss out on learning many new things, meeting new people, and having fun. Many clubs have already started recruiting.

SCAVENGER HUNTS
Scavenger hunts have been held at the school library. They are quite challenging, but fun nontheless. Ask the librarian, Ms. Valdez, to see when the next one will be held.
SPIRIT WEEK!!!
Spirit Week is finally here! Starting Monday September 29 and ending October 3, Spirit Week will be full of many activites.
Monday will be Sports day.

COFFEE WITH THE PRINCIPAL
Ortho Parents will be able to have coffe with our principal, Mrs. Horn, on Friday, October 3, 2008, from 9:00am - 10:00am in the library. Tell your parents to come and discuss any issues or comment on anything they would like. There will be a guest speaker - Sgt. Michael Vargas - who will be talking about safety tips for students and parents, on behalf of the Los Angeles School Police.
